Vortrax Construction Ltd., established in 1997 is a family owned and operated oil and gas Construction Company located in the heart of oil and gas country in east central Alberta. Tim Davey, company founder, co-owns Vortrax with his wife Tracy who manages the office side of the business. Tim started small with a backhoe and has grown the company where currently he manages a fleet of equipment with various sizes of dozers, track-hoes, graders as well as a fleet of trucks for heavy hauling of the equipment and supply and delivery of various aggregate products.
Vortrax is equipped to undertake many projects. Their experience is with the following: Oilfield Construction Lease & Access Construction; Pad Development; Road Building and Maintenance; Remediation work as well as clay sourcing and supply, delivery of various aggregate products. With Vortrax’s capabilities and equipment availability, they are confident they can assist you with your construction needs.

At Vortrax, safety is an investment in their people as well as their business relationships. Vortrax has a full time safety coordinator who deals with all issues pertaining to safety. Vortrax operators have been trained in a variety of safety certifications including: First Aid; WHIMIS; TDG; H2S; Ground Disturbance & PST.
Vortrax has successfully earned their Certification of Registration (COR) via external audit with a score of 89%.
Vortrax has met all criteria set out by ISN Networld and Complyworks.
With safety meetings, random site visits and inspections as well as hazard assessment tools, management recognizes the importance of a safe and efficient work environment and ensures they are willing to spend the time and money/resources to ensure proper updating/renewal of courses and training is completed.
